Bluff, Utah

It was another harder than expected day today,  but you can't complain about a ride across Monument Valley and being in the campsite by 4:00 p.m.   It got a little warm today it's now 87 degrees.   As usual the climbs were was harder than expected in the winds were not consistently at our backs.

We had 2 interesting encounters  today. The 1st one was meeting a fellow cyclist Patrick from Irvine California. He started a week before us and is heading all the way to Boston.  We are following the same basic route through Kansas and I expect we may see him again. The 2nd was when we finally got to Bluff  a fellow at the side of the road handed a cold beer as we rode by him.  He was a fellow cyclist from Colorado.

Tonight we are camping, which is a nice change.   We had a Navajo Taco for dinner, which was excellent (think tostada on fry bread).

    1. Sorry that we missed you. I assume that you were smart enough not to be cycling ๐Ÿ˜€
